The 2011 Silverad 1500 LTZ is a highway truck. It costs about $35,280 for very little miles. It does not have very good acceleration from a stop. It has traction control that helps it with getting around when it is slick out. It is supposed to get 15 miles per gallon in the city and about 20 miles per gallon on the highway. They do not get that good of gas millage they get about 16 miles per gallon on the highway.
It has the Z71 corvette engine. It has the option for manual push button or atomatic. It is set up for a towing truck and it has planty of power to do that. It seats 6 people, but it has a lot of blind spots. It can not turn very sharp to manuver around objects.
ok so my grandpa has an 08 chevy half ton.. it is pretty much the same as the one you wrote about. It has a thing where half the engine shuts down on the high way at about 60 miles an hour and if you are on a road that does not have many hills it will get like 40 miles to the gallon... but it is only when you set cruise and your over drive does not need to kick in. but it will get good gas milage depending on how you drive it and the roads you drive on.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your recommendation of it? This sounds like a more negative review. I didn't know some trucks were meant as a "highway truck".
