The 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser is a smaller car. It has a 4.5 star rating from consumers for over all comfort and reliability. A used one is valued at $3927 for a decent vehicle with only normal wear and tear on it. They are supposed to get about 19 miles in the city and 29 on the high way. It has a smaller cargo space when the back seats are in use. When they are not in use, they fold down and can be used as more cargo room. They did not have an high performance option on this year of vehicle.
The transmission are known to fail at about 66000 miles. The front suspension is also known to have problems about the same amount of miles as the transmission. You do get the luck of the draw though, so you might get one that lasts for ever or you might get one that has a lot of problems all the time. The fog lights are known to not turn off after time, they would be on all the time.
I haven`t really ever been a huge fan of PT Cruisers, but this one sounds like a good car to consider.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a pretty good price. For a car that old, how many miles can be expected to be on it? How much would a new transition be?
